LunaLux supports all major camera manufacturers including Sony (.ARW), Canon (.CR2, .CR3), Nikon (.NEF), Fujifilm (.RAF), Leica (.DNG), Panasonic (.RW2), and Apple ProRAW.

Which screens display the 1600 nits Ultra HDR effect?

MacBook Pro 14" and 16" (Liquid Retina XDR), Apple Pro Display XDR, iPad Pro with Mini-LED/OLED, iPhone 12 Pro through 16 Pro, and external HDR10 monitors display the glowing HDR highlights. On standard SDR monitors, the image renders normal SDR with filmic roll-off.

Is LunaLux really free?

Yes! LunaLux provides unlimited full-featured batch processing for free. Voluntary sponsorships via Buy Me a Coffee help fund ongoing development and new camera profiles.

Does LunaLux upload my photos to the cloud?

Never. All processing happens 100% locally on your Mac's hardware using Apple Silicon Metal shaders. No network access is required to process your photos.
